DJ prophecy has been rocking crowds and breaking hearts in San Diego for over 10 years. Holding residencies from The Gaslamp Quarter, to SDSU to San Diego's gritty dive bar scene, no speakers are safe.
His style ranges from Top 40 to Mashup, from Dubstep to down right goofy, but somehow always comes back to "The Classics." You know, the 90's hip hop that made every kid want to run out and buy turntables and a set of Dr. Dre doubles, right? In 2002 DJ Prophecy and DJ Riggz joined forces through Spincycle Entertainment, which was put hiatus in 2006 to work on individual projects.
In 2009, DJ Prophecy became a member of SUBversive Entertainment, "A California Collective of DJs, Artists and Bass Heads" to help bring the Bay Area's huge bass music scene out from the underground, and into the light in San Diego. You can currently catch him Saturday nights @ Last Call in San Diego, random SUBversive shows (check http://wearesubversive.com for more) and makes occasional appearances at Satin Lounge near SDSU and Stage in San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter.
